Jesus is one of the most famous religious figures remembered in history and is acknowledged in multiple religions as a spiritual leader. He is written about in several religious scripts, the New Testament focusing almost souly on his life and teaching.



WHAT IS KNOWN HISTORICALLY ABOUT JESUS?

Historically there is little concrete evidence that can be discovered about him. He was born in Bethlehem during the year of 4BC, and died 34 years later in 30AD. Shortly after his death there is records of a huge group of people preaching about his life. At this groups head there were 12 leaders who said that the Jesus they spoke of was the Messiah of Israel. They also claimed that he had risen from the dead, and used this story to spread the word of their religion.


This remains the only information which can be historically proven about Jesus. The Story of Jesus however does provide a detailed account of his birth, spiritual leadership, lessons and death.
